You can get a tourist visa, transit visa, visit visa or a residence visa.

There are four types of visas that you can get:

     Tourist visa, which is the most common type of visa to come from Nigeria. It allows you to stay in Dubai for up to 90 days. You must have a passport valid for at least 6 months and your flight ticket or proof that you're coming by air or sea (if you're going straight into the country). If traveling on foot, please note that any single-entry visa lasts only 60 days.

     Transit visa is another option if you want to transit through Dubai but don't plan on staying long enough for an extended stay. This type of tourist pass allows visitors up until 5 days after their departure date before they have to leave UAE shores again; however, it does not allow them entry into any other countries during this time period nor does it give them any rights within those same countries.

Each of these has its own requirements and limitations, so it's important you choose the right one.

     If you plan to stay longer than 90 days in Dubai, then a multiple entry visa will be required. This allows you to enter and exit the country multiple times with only one application fee paid at each time.
